Veneers are custom-made porcelain wafers that are placed over the front of the teeth to enhance their appearance and/or repair the damage. The procedure involves removing a thin amount of tooth enamel, taking molds (impressions) of the mouth, and then placing in a temporary veneer while the permanent veneers are being made. This usually takes less than two hours.
Next, our laboratory carefully crafts the porcelain into veneers that look natural in look and feel. In approximately two weeks, they are ready to be affixed to the front of the teeth. Comfort and fit is assured during follow-up appointments with Dr. Michael Robinson until you’re completely satisfied with your new smile.
