Once the contract ended, Tara worked at an office in Orillia as a Hygiene Assistant and Front Desk Administrator for nearly two years until Dr. Robinson contacted her with an opening to work alongside him again in 2000. She jumped at the chance and continued there until returning from her own maternity leave where she shifted roles to become Hygiene Coordinator and now Communication Lead/Front Desk Administrator. Home life is filled with sports, mainly minor hockey and lacrosse events along with billeting players of the Barrie Colts OHL team, and walking with her dog Baxter.

As for her profession, she completed her Level I and Level II chairside assisting and has been in the dental field for, almost 40 years (she says with a grimace). Although she misses the clinical aspect of chairside, she loves the other side of it and is passionate about helping her ‘wonderful patients’ navigate the dental world. Carol loves the connections she has made, having worked here for over 24 years, and feels truly blessed to look upon them as a family in a sense, having watched them grow from toddlers to they themselves bringing in their own toddlers.
